Indoor Air Quality of Registration and Electoral Office (REO)
In 2003, Environmental Protection Department (EPD) launched the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification Scheme to promote and commend good IAQ management practice. Offices or public places served by mechanical ventilation and air conditioning (MVAC) systems (excluding window-type air-conditioners or split-type air-conditioners) are eligible to join the IAQ Certification Scheme.
REO has conducted assessments under IAQ Certification Scheme for its premises. REO's seven major offices have already joined the IAQ Certification Scheme and have attained the "Excellent" or "Good" IAQ Class, with details as follows -

REO will continue to carry out regular IAQ inspections to its offices to ensure that their air quality is kept at “Good” IAQ Class or above.
